Our family here at Dillon Fruit Farm invite you and your family to visit our farm. We take great care to produce the highest, best quality fruit you can pick or buy. Our farm is in a lovely, rural setting for you to enjoy, giving a refreshing taste of the beautiful and bountiful country in which we live.
In 1977, Jim Dillon and his parents, Art and Ruth, bought an old, abandoned farm. They began clearing, plowing, and laying out the orchards, and soon Dillon Fruit Farm was born. Apples, blueberries and raspberries were their first crops, and then peaches and tart cherries were added as Karen married Jim and joined the family and the farm.
Jim and Karen retired from farming in 2014, and leased the farm to Zach and Denise Miller, whose family had been involved with the farm for fifteen years. Together with their children, Zach and Denise are committed to preserving Jim and Karen's beautiful farm and continuing to provide our faithful customers with the best fruit for years to come.

A peek at our life on the farm will show that, while fruit is harvested only in the summer and fall, the input of work is year-round. Together with our dedicated employees, all of whom are residents of our lovely area, we labor conscientiously to ensure that we do all in our power to enable to best fruit to come to harvest. Pruning is the most time-consuming task, and is a six-day-a-week job from November through April. Each bush and tree is carefully maintained to promote the best possible fruit ripening. In the Spring, we spend weeks hand-pulling weeds, mulching, repairing fence and trellises, and planting new trees and bushes. As harvest approaches, a massive net is pulled over the fields to passively seclude and protect the fruit from curious little animals. Then, in the summer months, comes the great rush to get all the fruit picked at the peak of ripeness, ensuring the best possible taste and quality for our customers!
